Gympass recognised by Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in GB

On May 18th, Gympass, was invited by the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain to pick up an award that recognised the company’s successful investment, growth and business operations within Great Britain and Europe in 2016.

The awards were hosted by the new UK Ambassador to Brazil, Vijay Rangarajan, whom recognised a total of 22 Brazilian companies with remarkable expansion in the UK. The Brazilian Ambassador to the UK, Eduardo dos Santos, was also present to the ceremony, along with 250 business leaders from both countries. Along with receiving the award, Gympass was also recognised as the 100^th company to arrive to the UK from Brazil.

Gympass’ Head of Global Deals, Fabio Salim, who picked up the award stated on the night, “It was a great way to see a whole host of great companies coming from Brazil and settling into a new market like the UK. It can be a tough market to crack!”
